WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Unlike “Pest Control” companies (exterminators) that use poisons that must be ingested to kill bugs, mice and rats, Sterile Space does not use any such chemicals or baits or other forms of poison that can leach off of the items and surfaces we treat. The products we use are safe for use in places where adults, children, elderly and pets are found. There is no residue left behind that poses a threat. The antimicrobial which lasts on surfaces for a year or more, will not come off (leach) onto a person’s clothing, their skin or mouth, if they place a treated article in their mouth as a child might do.

What type of cleansing/sterilization used? Uv-c light? Spray on premises?
Hi Elizabeth,
When we are decontaminating, we use a disinfectant based detergent for items too large to go thru our ultrasonic decon lab trailer. In that mobile lab, we use ultrasonic technology as part of a three step bath to remove and destroy and biological material. If we are talking about carpeting, first we use a carpet cleaning machine to the dirt and whatever biologic out. That is followed by exposure to UV-C light which shatters the DNA chains in cells, thus neutralizing those cells and the final step with the carpet is applying the long-term antimicrobial to kill germ infected cells for at least a year.
Yes, we use electrostatic sprayers to apply the antimicrobial coating.
